Morning: We will start the day with a visit to the Rova of Antananarivo, also known as the Queen’s Palace. This historic palace complex served as the residence of Madagascar’s royal family until the late 19th century. Today, it stands as a symbol of the country’s rich cultural heritage and offers a fascinating glimpse into Madagascar’s past. You can explore the various buildings within the complex, including the Andafiavaratra Palace, which served as the primary residence of the Queen.
Afternoon: After lunch, we will travel to Andasibe-Mantadia National Park, one of Madagascar’s most popular national parks, located about 3 hours east of the capital city. The park is home to a diverse range of wildlife, including the Indri lemur, the largest lemur species in Madagascar. You can take a guided tour through the park’s lush rainforest and spot a variety of exotic flora and fauna.
